Frequently asked questions

How much does asphalt paving cost in Memphis?

Cost depends on square footage, removal, base condition and thickness rather than a flat rate. Small residential driveways and large commercial lots have very different per-square-foot pricing. We provide free written estimates so you know the number before committing.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, always, and there's no obligation. We visit the property, measure, check drainage and give you a written scope.

How long does asphalt take to cure?

It's drivable in 24 to 72 hours depending on temperature and thickness, and fully cures over about 30 days. Avoid point loads and turning wheels while parked during that first month.

What's the best time of year to pave in Tennessee?

March through November provides the most consistent mat temperatures. Repairs, patching and crack sealing continue nearly year-round.

Should I repair or replace my driveway?

If under roughly 25 to 30 percent of the area is failing and the base is intact, repair is usually the better investment. Widespread alligator cracking or standing water points toward replacement.

How often should I sealcoat?

Every two to four years for most properties. Annual sealcoating isn't necessary and can create a brittle build-up.

Do you work with HOAs and property managers?

Regularly. We provide phased multi-year maintenance plans, documentation for boards and scheduling that keeps properties operational.

Can you pave over concrete?

Sometimes, with proper preparation and thickness, but concrete joints tend to reflect through asphalt over time. We'll tell you honestly whether it's advisable on your site.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We carry general liability and workers' compensation and can supply certificates of insurance.

Do you handle drainage problems?

Yes. Grading, swales, culverts and catch basin tie-ins are part of what we do, and we address drainage before paving rather than after.

What areas do you serve?

Memphis, all of Shelby County, West Tennessee, and northern Mississippi including Southaven and Olive Branch.

How do I get on your schedule?

Call 901-617-3733 or submit the quote form. Once you approve the proposal we confirm a weather window and give you an install date.
